History of

Adobe Systems

The Photoshop and Adobe Cloud maker, has been a big hit on Wall Street in recent years, with the company’s shares reaching historic highs. But despite Adobe’s boom, the company still values work/life balance. Each year, Adobe shuts down for the weeks of July Fourth and Christmas, something that’s quite unusual for a Silicon Valley tech business. The company also offers unlimited PTO, 26 weeks’ paid leave for new mothers, and four- to six-week sabbaticals for every five years of service. Partners with teachers of America in order to expand the creative technology in rural and urban communities.

Interview Process

1. Phone Screen with Recruiter

Typically lasts about 30 minutes. Recruiter reviews the role with the candidate to ensure a good fit and that interests and skills align with the role. Recruiters also typically ask behavioral questions.

2. Interview with Hiring Manager

Typically takes place via video conferencing with a potential manager. Hiring Manager typically asks more questions pertaining to the role specifically as well as the candidate’s prior experience and resume.

3. On-site Interview with members of the team

If all goes well with the first two interviews, the candidate is then invited to an in person interview with a few members of the potential team, so that the candidate can get to know the team culture.
